Who are we? The Acts of God Drama Ministry is committed to being a ministry that supports the purpose and core values of Ingomar United Methodist Church, by using our dramatic gifts to reach people with the good news of Jesus. We are purposeful in our intention to be a welcoming ministry by the ways we put our theatrical talents to use both onstage and behind the scenes.

Be a part of our growth! From Godspell in 2003 to Beauty and the Beast in 2006, our drama ministry is leaping and growing!

We’ve shared the word of Christ to thousands of people through these productions, but we have so much more coming! Sound interesting?

You pick any or all of the ways you’d like to be involved. We need people both onstage and off. From planning to performance.

Acts of God is pleased to offer another musical planned for this fall. In the tradition of Beauty & the Beast,Jesus Christ Superstar and Godspell, Ingomar United Methodist Church will present a Broadway musical, which will be chosen shortly. AOG has become well-known in the region for excellence in drama, music and dance through our productions. Won’t you join us? Prepare now to audition in June for a part or join the team behind the scenes. Auditions usually include a prepared song to sing, dramatic reading and some movement. See You in Bells was written by Ingomar's own Edie Claire who also has penned the Leigh Koslow mystery novels. This comedy certainly had you rolling with laughter.

Vision:
To be a ministry that supports the values and goals of Ingomar United Methodist Church, working cooperatively with and as a resource to other ministries of the church in order to utilize drama to reach new people, connect in fellowship, nurture in faith, and alleviate suffering.

Mission:
To plan, produce, coordinate, and support the performance of theatrical presentations. Those presentations will enhance the values and goals of this church in four ways: · Support and enhance the worship services of Ingomar · Have broad appeal to the community and bring non-members into our church · Witness to the community in external venues, such as nursing homes, parks and events. · Include other missions and ministries of Ingomar as both participants and beneficiaries of drama outreach.
