30 Hour Famine

The 30 Hour Famine is a worldwide event sponsored by World Vision that allows you to do something to fight hunger in our world. Because when you - along with a group of your friends - go without food for 30 hours and raise money for world hunger, hungry kids get to eat... and live. That's what the 30 Hour Famine is all about. Make your mark on a world in need. In 1998, more than 1.5 million young people in 21 countries participated in the Famine. In England, it's the 24 Hour Famine, while young people participate in a 40 Hour Famine down under in Australia. Combined, the international famine efforts raised millions of dollars to fight world hunger!
